So where did the band name "The Killers" come from?
Brandon Flowers tells the story that in 2001 he went to see an Oasis show at Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel and everything changed for him. He dropped the synth pop sound he was making and dove into indie rock. It was on this path that Flowers became influenced by Joy Division and New Order.
