Band Names: Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2000. The band’s roots stretch to Ohio, where Karen O and Brian Chase met while attending Oberlin College. When Karen O transferred to New York University, she met Nick Zinner at a local bar. Zinner and Karen O formed a band called Unitard. When the original drummer left, Chase joined the band and they changed their name to Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
